Meet Your Therapist
Healthcare providers ask their clients a lot of personal questions about their lives and take time to get to know them. It's only natural that you would want to know a little bit about the providers you work with.
Elizabeth Ryan, PT, DPT, NCS
I’m originally from Lima, Ohio, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science Education from The Ohio State University in 2013. I went on to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Washington University in St Louis in 2016. After graduation, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky where I worked at Frazier Rehab Hospital and discovered my passion for treating individuals recovering from stroke and acquired brain injury. In 2019, I became Board-Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist through the APTA.
After returning to Ohio in 2023, I have continued working in the outpatient rehab setting with the neurological population, focusing on helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. I also serve as adjunct faculty in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Toledo University and have a special interest of incorporating dry needling into my practice.
Outside of work, I am happiest when I’m active and outdoors. I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, and running with my two dogs. Most recently, I achieved my goal to qualify for the Boston Marathon in 2027.
